A special container needs to be equipped with a remote controlled high output search light. The searchlight has to be convertible to allow illumination of the surroundings, search of objects/persons at long distances and to be used during night with infrared filters.

SL Agile has developed multiple alternatives and explained the possible advantages and disadvantages of the different solutions. The customer has developed over the time a better understanding of the technical possibilities and has proposed new objectives for the final solution. The proposed objectives were not specified and SL Agile has developed in an iterative process specific design solutions and interfaces to elements supplied by partners of the customer.

SL Agile integrates a swisslicht ML1 with the modules and extends the solution by adding a motor stand that can be enhanced with video cameras, a simple remote control and a versatile power supply combined with the power system of the container. Mounting and dismounting of the solution can be done in the field.

Construction and system integration has been done by SL Agile. The customer has received either plans or video animations displaying the proposed solutions. The customer has a rapid gain of understanding without the need to go through a costly trial and error phase.

After completion of the work SL Agile has identified potential suppliers, contacted them and redesigned the solution to take into account the availability of standard off-the-shelve products. SL Agile has combined all elements in completely functional prototype.

Metalwork and mounting of the complete solution is done by local companies under the supervision of SL Agile.
